Phew, what a mission. After teaching the 9-year old about shares, I let her choose the next purchase. I checked and it all looked good. Her $1000 turned into $100, and my investment did a similar thing. So then it became a waiting game. The fundamentals were good, so it was probable that things would improve. They did. And now, 2 years later, hers $1000 is worth more than $2000 and Capital Gains Tax has halved. So we are hanging on for a bit longer as the stock could easily double again in the next couple of months. A long time coming, but a 300% gain in a couple of years is way better than anything else. WGO is set to fly right now. And the chance of it going backwards is very slim.
