Angry Shareholders

And now Catalina Res has a whole bunch of angry shareholders because one of the Directors, in the public domain, indicated that the upcoming assays would be exceptional and contain elements of significance. In reality, that was far from the actual result. Now, whether that was ill-informed or just plain stupid, shareholders are baying for blood, and they have every right to. A Director of a company has extra responsibilities and needs to be mindful about anything they say in relation to the company's activities. If CTN want to make any sort of headway, they need to heed what has just happened, or they will, quite simply, cease to exist.

Trading Halts

Trading halts are always fun, and uncertain, times. Unless you have spoken to management, you can only make an educated guess as to what a trading halt is for. Interestingly, of the 3 companies I have shares in, 2 are in trading halts right now. CTN looks like announcing good (hopefully oustanding) news on Monday morning. DTR could swing either way on Tuesday. It will be fun to watch. TINFA

TINFA

On Hot Copper (a chat site I recommend, especially for research), I often see acronyms. GLTAH - good luck to all *share( holders IMHO - In my humble opinion There are to try and deflect away from the dangers of giving financial advice. So I added one recently: TINFA - this is not financial advice No one has asked what it means, yet. I suspect it will become popular when they figure it out

There is Nothing Like It

There is nothing like a Trading Halt to get tongues wagging and emotions flaring. And such is what we see with BOT right now. Emotions are running high, almost as high as the excessively bullish. But it is fun to watch. Sit back, wait and see.

So I Did Some Homework

And I talked to the MD of DTR. Hmmm. I see what the company plans and I see how much skin the Directors have in the game. Now, if everyone can just hold on for 2 months. I also see the opportunity to write an article for a magazine that should focus some attention on the company... good attention, that is. Hey ho, let's go.
