Out of 2

I ahd some bills to pay and these 2 got the chop: PFE - such promise, such disappointmen IMC - I always had some ethical problems with this one.  But there it is. Bills paid, and a little left over to find something new with.

A Couple of Updates

Well, it's Monday morning and the week has started with a bang. First, PFE announced that there was an unexpected problem with their test drill and they have had to abandon that and go to a new test drill site. A delay, but no real issue apart from that. And the market hated that. Good news for those wanting to buy, not so good for existing holders. IMC released their AGM presentation which indicates that there will be some news in December and then a very busy (and hopefully productive) 2025. Sales are good and continuing to get better and better.

Where I Am Currently At

Having had to sell and buy some shares recently, I am now holding: BOT - should return nicely in early 2025. (im my opinion, at least 50 cents share price) EQN - showing great results results from recent sampling, these guys should be on a winner. Results from the Brazillian REE assays are pending, and good (or great) news is expected. In mid-November 2023 the share price jumped 100%. DTR - another standing to win from Donald Trump's re-ascention. These are a long term hold, but at anything under 1 cent DTR should return spectacular results for anyone willing to hold for 2 years. Who knows where they will be after 4 years of Trump, but I am thinking they will be nicely placed with gold and REE mining. PFE - Another short-term hold. Should return good results within 2 months (in my opinion, I am hoping for a 50% jump) IMC - yeah, I hung on to these for too long. But now that the summer travel season is upon us and the US DoD trials continue, I only expect good news to continue to f...

And...

And following another news blast from Hot Copper I looked at PFE (on the ASX). There's some shares for sale, but not many. And given the US election results, I reckon this one is worth a closer look. Also seeing that the Directors are acquiring shares is a good sign. Yeah, I don't mind this one.

Time... Your Most Important Asset

I love it when I have the time to look around. I can spot opportunities and, more importantly, spot what might just turn out to be mistakes. For instance, Hot Copper sent out a news blast on Codeifai (ASX: CDE), so I looked them up on asx.com. They look like a real opportunity at 0.1cents per share. So I punched up NABTrade and looked at their depth. Uhoh, no buyers at all. A little more investigation revealed that there isn't much here to look at. Move on. No, it's not even worth joining the webinar. Time well spent.

My Challenge to Myself

Here we go.  Donald Trump takes over in January 2025. He will be there for four years (barring judicial mishap orother misfortune). I reckon that I can allocate $1000 on Jan 1 and my challenge to myself is to turn that into more than $500,000 before then end of DT's term of office. All taxes and fees paid along the way. No margin loans. No inside knowledge. No cheating. Just research. I will step-by-step it here... the good and the bad.

Donald Trump

Whatever you think and feel, it looks like DT is in for his second term as US President. My thoughts are that this will mean a boost for oil & gas and for miners. REEs loook to receive special attention as DT will probably spend a lot of effort building and strenthening US supply chains and manufacturing capacity. For Aussie companies like Dateline Resources (ASX: DTR) who has gold and REE, along with Strontium, this means the possibility of an acceleration in activities as they look to take full advantage of the next four years. And DTR are not the only ones in this situation.  Lots of opportunities for investors to make significant returns, and many will kick themselves for selling too early. Do plenty of research and you might just see a multi-bagger at the very beginning of its cycle. Keep a strong eye on the USA charts to get an overall feeling for market sentiment. And remember to judge all news, negative and positive, before you jump. If you do your research and kn...

Immuron

Immuron (ASX: IMC) has an AGM coming up (18 November) and I reckon they are in for a bit of shareholder backlash. Being a shareholder, I am going to be paying strong attention and will report back afterwards.

AI

How's AI doing? Extraordinarily well. The early adopter companies, those who already have skin in the game will do really well going forward. AI is a nimble technology everything about it is fast; investors are going to need to be equally fast. Information is the key and sharing accurate information is critical for investors. The problems we (investors) face is the number of bullshit artists out there. They spread misinformation or just don't like what is going on and make up unreliable information. To take advantage, investors are going to have to be super-nimble, sorting out the real news from the fake. If you can get on top of it and find news sources that you can trust, then profits await. There will be lots of new talent entering the market as the university and college year ends, and this means new enthusiasm and exciting directions. Be careful. There will be plenty of opportunities that lead to utter disappointment and the wiping out of fortunes. From Angel Investors ri...

Algorae

Algorae (ASX: 1AI) is set to release some news. Their latest Chairman's address (25 October) states that pivotal data from preclinical trials is due. This has the potential to be a slice of good news for shareholders. I see that the share price has started to go up in anticipation.
