In the meantime, here's where I am at with my current investment in PRL: Petrel Energy Ltd (PRL) is looking like an interesting thing. To be honest, the 8-year old and I both bought in. We did it on the strength of their good news out of Uruguay. The reality is that PRL finding the only onshore oil in that country has the potential to be a really big deal indeed. And then the share price dropped dramatically, partly due to the need to raise cash through a rights issue. They set the price very low. What do I think these shares will do? I reckon they will end up around the 1.8 cent mark - and that's 6x their current price. So the potential is great. Looking at last year's performance, the price rocketed up 4x, offering a lot of opportunity to earn some profits.
