Let's Talk Dateline Resources

Dateline Resources trades on the ASX as DTR and in the USA as DTREF.

Dateline has:

Gold - The Colosseum gold mine in San Bernardino, California with 1.1 million ounces of gold, maybe more. The life of the mine is estimated to be more than 8 years.

Rare earths at the same location, and lots of them. So much that the President of the United States has named that mine individually as important to the USA. He has cleared the approval to mine rare earths at Colosseum (after years of stalled talks). Also, they are only 10km down the road from America's only operating rare earths mine and processing facility (Mountain Pass). They don't have to truck over miles and miles, they can send it all to the processor on a conveyor belt (or just truck a very short distance). These things are HUGE. Drilling of rare earths is about to start to get a firmer understanding of how much is there so that the resource can be accurately measured. It needs to be said that some at the already operating rare earths mine at Mountain Pass feel that Dateline has even better ground (for rare earths) than they (Mountain Pass) have.

Strontium - 80% stake in a the largest operating Strontium mine in the USA. Yes, another critical mineral for batteries. And, it,s also close by.

Aggregate. There is  major airport being constructed in southern Nevada plus a constructin boom and Dateline has more than 50 million tons of waste than can become aggregate, and it's just up the road (less than 40km away). Selling a waste product is like a Dire Strais song: Money For Nothing. Plus it is great environmentally and reduces clean-up costs at the end of thine mine.

4 huge income-creating resources. Plus...

Presidential endorsement and aproval, and continued good press from the US Administration. This leads to good press, interest from high-level investors, easier paths to production, less red tape, vastly increased investor confidence, and the opportunity to apply for grants, low-cost loans, etc. This adds to (share) buying pressure.

OTCQB venture market listing - this is in progress and when complete will allow USA investors easy access to purchase DTREF shares. Currently, they are able to buy them off a few brokers in the USA. This opens it up enormously and adds to (share) buying pressure.

ABankable Feasibility Study is underway and due later this year. This will result in a steady flow of news (about all activities) from Dateline. This will add to (share) buying pressure.

All the groundwork is done for the rare earths and the expert geologists (leaders in that sector) have been retained for the next stage (drilling, assays, etc). They know where to drill and what they expect to find. This will significantly speed up the path to production and will add to (share) buying pressure.

Rising investor interest in the USA. Simple mathematics suggest that there could be 10x the number of investor in the USA as in Australia. That could certainly add to (share) buying pressure.

PLUS... it looks like someone (someones) has shorted DTR almost 7 million shares. At some stage they have to buy them back (they hope at a lower price, of course). But this will also add to buying pressure.

Does all this make DTR a sure thing? Of course not. There is no such category on the share market. In fact, all shares (even those "safe" blue chip ones) are risks. You could lose the lot. Understand that.

Does this make DTR a great opportunity? In my opinion, ABSOLUTELY. Getting in early will just increase any returns. A number of current long-term share holders are busy buying up even more stock as the price continues to rise.

Who am I? Just an average investor who has done his homework. I don't work in (and never have worked in) the financial or sharebroking sectors. So anything I say is either published fct or my opinion. I can't recommend that you buy or sell anything, all I can do is estimate from what I am seeing and let you know about the opportunity that lies ahead.

Good luck in your investment journey.

A Couple of Updates

Well, it's Monday morning and the week has started with a bang. First, PFE announced that there was an unexpected problem with their test drill and they have had to abandon that and go to a new test drill site. A delay, but no real issue apart from that. And the market hated that. Good news for those wanting to buy, not so good for existing holders. IMC released their AGM presentation which indicates that there will be some news in December and then a very busy (and hopefully productive) 2025. Sales are good and continuing to get better and better.

2025 - an early start

Ok., so here we go on my Trump-era goal. Just bought MXR (yes, on the ASX). AAR wants to take them over at 7 cents as a scrip payment (paying in AAR shares instead of cash). The current share price is 6.3 cents. So that should be a quick 10% gain. However... this does look like a lowball offer and may yet be increased. MXR has great assets and AAR already owns almost 20% of MXR. So AAR is committed to a deal and that may just attract other attention. It looks like a no-brainer to start 2025. Yes, there is always some risk, but this one looks pretty good. I have done a bit more research and have some exciting thoughts, including one that looks a little like another WGO (which returned handsomely on a takeover). More news coming as I do more reseach.  Another one that looks good for a quick profit is GES, but as I write this, there are no shares at the right price (.05).

Out of 2

I ahd some bills to pay and these 2 got the chop: PFE - such promise, such disappointmen IMC - I always had some ethical problems with this one.  But there it is. Bills paid, and a little left over to find something new with.
