DTR

I know that Dateline Resources (ASX: DTR; OTCQB: DTREF) is my current darling but, as I have said to many people, why would you be anywhere else?

These guys have plenty of announcements coming up, let's see if I can predict them correctly.

Tomorrow (4 August 2025): the new COO takes up his position.

The same week: results from the field-testing for rare earths and from the field testing for gold.

Then the drilling plan for testing for gold, and the drilling plan for testing for rare earths.

Then the start of testing and indicative results from those 2.

Then the assay results from the testing.

Now, bear in mind that these 7 announcements are part of a much larger picture. The gold results will feed into the Bankable Feasibility Study due at the end of 2025, and the rare earths will feed into any grant application with the USA government.

The share price jumped 11% on te OTCQB board on Friday night (Australian time), so I expect the ASX to open at 14.5 cents on Monday morning.

I said to a colleague (he got into DTR when I first told him) that we will be accused of being lucky. But we have told a lot of people about DTR and most of them have decided not to be lucky. So it's not about being lucky, it's about seeing an opportunity and going for it.

The American investors have said that they want to buy all the Australian shares they can and that they then want to take the share price sky high. Ok. But they're not getting my shares any time soon.

If you would have bought 1 million shares in mid-April 2025, you would have spent $6000. By mid-May, your shares would have increased in value by $31,000. By mid-June, they would have gone upa further $66,000. But mid_July you added another $30,000 in value. Talk about beating the market, that's going to produce a tax hangover.

And they are a long way from being finished.

So why would you be abywhere else?

A Couple of Updates

Well, it's Monday morning and the week has started with a bang. First, PFE announced that there was an unexpected problem with their test drill and they have had to abandon that and go to a new test drill site. A delay, but no real issue apart from that. And the market hated that. Good news for those wanting to buy, not so good for existing holders. IMC released their AGM presentation which indicates that there will be some news in December and then a very busy (and hopefully productive) 2025. Sales are good and continuing to get better and better.

2025 - an early start

Ok., so here we go on my Trump-era goal. Just bought MXR (yes, on the ASX). AAR wants to take them over at 7 cents as a scrip payment (paying in AAR shares instead of cash). The current share price is 6.3 cents. So that should be a quick 10% gain. However... this does look like a lowball offer and may yet be increased. MXR has great assets and AAR already owns almost 20% of MXR. So AAR is committed to a deal and that may just attract other attention. It looks like a no-brainer to start 2025. Yes, there is always some risk, but this one looks pretty good. I have done a bit more research and have some exciting thoughts, including one that looks a little like another WGO (which returned handsomely on a takeover). More news coming as I do more reseach.  Another one that looks good for a quick profit is GES, but as I write this, there are no shares at the right price (.05).

Out of 2

I ahd some bills to pay and these 2 got the chop: PFE - such promise, such disappointmen IMC - I always had some ethical problems with this one.  But there it is. Bills paid, and a little left over to find something new with.
